My first taste of therapeutic massage techniques came as a client recovering from a shoulder restriction. This was not caused by any dramatic injury but by stress and the associated poor posture/self image/low self esteem. I was amazed at the difference this work made on my body and mental outlook and I enrolled on my first training course to learn more – never thinking I would be hooked after completing the Bodywork Beginnings intensive course in 2016! I continued my training becoming ACMT qualified in 2017 and have also completed courses on TMJ issues and Massage during /after Pregnancy. I work from clinics in Harpenden and Dunstable and have some capacity for home visits. I love investigating what's going on to treat the cause and find it so rewarding when my client's move without pain, smile as they breathe easier and tell me they are finally sleeping well again.
