Clinical massage therapy combines and applies a range of techniques to achieve a specific outcome – to get you out of pain, or reduce it significantly enough to improve your quality of life, increase your range of movement, improve your posture and importantly, always to relax!
As an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist, I can draw upon many techniques such as deep tissue work, soft tissue release, myofascia release, hot and cold treatments, acupressure points, trigger point therapy, and stretching. So whether you just want to relax and ease away the stresses of the day or you have a condition you would like help with, your treatment will comprise of a number of different elements. These include traditional Holistic Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue techniques and Clinical Massage techniques as appropriate to provide a personalised treatment based on your needs, ensuring your massage is effective, relaxing and energizing.
A little about me ………….. After working in the NHS for a number of years, I trained at one of London’s leading schools of massage qualifying at ITEC diploma level in Holistic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology with merit. I have since undertaken additional training in Deep Tissue Massage and have achieved the Certificate in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy accredited by the Jing Institute. I am a member of The Complimentary Therapists Association through which I am also insured. I am also registered with The Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
