Description
ISTR (Integrative Soft-Tissue Release) Autonomic Manipulation is an introductory course whose focus is upon three myo-fascial releasing methods: autonomic nervous system, movement and mechanical releases. These are blended principles and concepts from multiple modalities that are integrated with hands-on application.
Powerful, profound yet gently applied holding techniques include Two-Pointing, Osteopathic ‘Fulcrum’, Transverse Plane Release for Coordinating the ‘Eight Diaphragms’.
Tensegrity Techniques utilising tissue loading with compression and tension that affect sensory mechanoreceptors are taught. Static compression/tension for myofascia and leverage compression/tension for joints is taught from simple one dimensional application to compound applied technique engaging and releasing articular & myofascial restrictions.
Instructor: Steven Goldstein has been teaching his unique blend of soft-tissue releasing techniques internationally since 1995, in Australia, Europe, UK, USA, Canada & the South Africa.
