About your tutor Kate Webb
Kate Webb is a mental health expert with over 30 years experience in the sector. She is a trained counsellor and holds a MA in consultation and organisational dynamics from the acclaimed Tavistock Institute. She has held key leadership roles at both MIIND and MINDOUT (LGBTQ+ services).
Kate has set up innovative community services for those in mental distress including advocacy services and Brighton and Hove’s successful Recovery College, an innovative model allowing people with severe mental health issues to gain self- management skills and peer support. She has a wide range of knowledge of both the voluntary and statutory services and is a warm and dynamic facilitator.
