I work as a clinical massage therapist helping people out of pain, improving their range of movement and helping them get back to doing the things that matter to them.
At Jing I studied the in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage BTEC level 6, which is degree level and the highest training available in the UK.
I offer a range of massage including sports massage, myofascial release, hot stone massage, Swedish massage, Indian Head massage, scar work, oncology massage and Thai foot massage. I always tailor the massage to suit the client and on our first meeting I will conduct a confidential consultation to ensure the treatment is suited to your needs. I also include assisted stretching during the treatment and provide clear and appropriate after care advice and rehabilitation exercises as necessary.
I work on a whole range of different injuries and conditions such as: Arthritis, Back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Cancer, Dislocations, Fibromyalgia, Frozen shoulder, Herniated disc, Hip pain, Knee pain, Migraines and headaches, Meniscus problems, Multiple Sclerosis, Neck pain, Piriformis Syndrome, Plantar fasciitis, Rotator Cuff Injury, Sacroiliac Joint Syndrome, Sciatica, Tendonitis, Tennis/golfers elbow, Whiplash and many more…
In addition to the BTEC above, I also have an ITEC diploma in Swedish Massage, ITEC certificate in Indian Head Massage, Thai Foot massage certificate from Wat Po massage school in Bangkok, JING certificate in Advance Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy, JING certificate in Myofascial Release, JING certificate in Oncology Massage and Scar Work, JING certificate in Hot Stone Massage, and I am Vodder trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
I work from my clinic in Hove for the majority of the time providing massage and manual lymphatic drainage treatments, I also provide oncology massage on a voluntary basis at Macmillan Horizon centre in Kemptown for patients living with and beyond cancer, and I offer clinical and sports massage once a week at a local chiropractor’s clinic.
I am a member of the Complementary Health Professionals Association and I am fully insured by Balens Insurance Ltd.
